Video: Building Georgia’s Workforce by Investing in Foster Youth
Each year, hundreds of young people age out of Georgia’s foster care system with no safety net and no one to call when challenges arise. However, many of them are finding their path forward inside Georgia’s technical colleges, enrolling in programs in healthcare, welding, logistics, cybersecurity, and other high-demand fields. Commissioner Greg Dozier sees these students across the Technical College System of Georgia and recognizes what they represent: a resilient, motivated segment of Georgia’s future workforce.
Georgia Chamber Releases Report on Latest Tariff Updates
Following the recent decision by the Supreme Court of the United States in Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump — which held that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act does not authorize the executive branch to impose tariffs — the Georgia Chamber of Commerce has released an updated tariff report outlining the potential implications for Georgia’s business community.
